When Good Food Goes Bad!
Jul 29, 2010 - Arcadian agriculture took a hard knock recently when vegetables turned violent. Mean mielies, cruel carrots, aggro avos… and the list goes on!
Rumour has it this freak farming is connected to the disappearance of Baobab, the keeper of the Guarded Garden. Now the Guarded Garden is being maintained by Prof. Port Jaxon, a foreigner to these parts.
When asked about his unconventional farming method the professor made this statement, “Yes, I am implementing genetic modifications within the Guarded Garden’s vegetables, but they are by no means harmful… unless they are aggravated!”
Prof Port Jaxon assures the press that the genetic modifications are all natural and within agricultural regulations. However, many believe the professor has something to do with Baobab’s disappearance in the first place.
An Arcadian, who wishes to remain anonymous, stated, “Prof. Port Jaxon couldn’t get his genetic modifiers pass Baobab. Now suddenly, Baobab’s missing and Jaxon has the freedom to do what he likes in the Guarded Garden.”
For the sake of vegetables, indeed all our foods, let’s hope someone out there is brave enough to bring the Guarded Garden back to its former glory.
